Alaska Primary Prevention Summit 2023

Building Effective Prevention Programs through Meaningful Partnerships

January 24-26, 2023

Deadline for Registration: January 6, 2023
Early Registration is Encouraged

Hello!
You are invited to register for the Primary Prevention Summit 2023.

The Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, in partnership with the Alaska Network on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, the Department of Education and Early Development, the Division of Public Health, the Section of Women’s Children and Family Health, and community-based non-profit programs from across Alaska, began the Alaska Primary Prevention Summit in 2013. The Summit brings in community teams from across the state to highlight state and local efforts to reduce and ultimately prevent domestic violence, sexual assault, and other social and health-related challenges.

The Summit is intended to provide learning opportunities and technical assistance support to Community Prevention Teams in their prevention planning and program implementations. This year, our Summit is focused on building effective prevention programs through meaningful partnerships.  We know you are all experts on your local communities, we honor that expertise, and look forward to hosting this year’s event and learning from each other. Thank you for your work throughout the year to celebrate healthy communities and prevent all forms of violence.
